"That's very astute of you, Sir" (Is it now?)

You...

Name: Elizabeth

Nickname(s): Liz, Lizzy, The Krueger, Hey You (yes, I'm serious)

Age: 19

Location: Nebraska

Three positive adjectives that describe who you are: Intelligent, creative, funny

Three negative adjectives that describe who you are: Vindictive, sharp-tongued, belligerent

Pick a line from a song that you think describes you:
I feel like I’m exploding
Going out of my head
Gonna live while I’m alive
I’ll sleep when I’m dead
Till I’m 6 feet under
And they lay my bones to rest
Gonna live while I’m alive
I’ll sleep when I’m dead
-Bon Jovi, "I'll Sleep When I'm Dead"

Favourite quote: "I like your Christ. I do not like your Christians. They are so unlike your Christ." -Gandhi (No wonder people respect Gandhi so much. LOL!)

Hobbies/Interests: Reading, writing fanfiction and poetry, hanging out with friends, throwing liqour into the mix when hanging out with said friends, watching movies, dancing around my dorm room when no one's watching

Likes: Nic Cage and Keanu Reeves movies, Diet Pepsi, long phone conversations talking about nothing in particular, new episodes of Supernatural (or ANY episodes of Supernatural, really), hanging out with my roommate (who's pretty much awesome), and raising hell with said roommate.

Dislikes: Stupid people (interpret that however you like), racists/bigots, Hannah Montana, the color pink, most branches of math and science, fake tans in January when it's 8 degrees outside, people who sing off-key and act like they're God's gift to music. (In high school, I was friends with a bunch of band and choir geeks, and by my senior year, we'd all evolved into music snobs. Everyone kept saying it was inevitable. :D)

Either Or...

Bravery or Revenge: Hmmm...crap. This is one of those honestly tough choices. There are times when I just want to kick someone's ass for revenge. But sometimes, being brave and just standing up to someone, no matter how terrified you are, is just the right thing to do. And sometimes the only thing I can do.

Social or Anti-social: I can be somewhat anti-social, though not on purpose. When I'm thinking, or even just walking somewhere, my expression looks somewhat severe, and people have told me that it makes me look unapproachable. But if you engage me in conversation, I'll smile and become more animated-thereby probably confusing the hell out of people. And around my friends and people I'm comfortable with, I'm very social.

Brilliance or Imagination: Imagination, simply because I imagine someone with a lot of brilliance and no imagination would seem really dull. At least, to me. But you when you put the two together-you get paintings like Starry Night.

Street smart or Book smart: I'm pretty book smart...I read a lot as a child, and I still do. It wasn't from a lack of wanting to be street smart, it was just that I preferred books-they couldn't make fun of me, the way the other kids my age did.

Pessimist or Optimist: I try to think the best of people/situations, but sometimes it's hard. However, if we're being truthful, I tend to be a pessimist about the human race. Especially when it comes to telling people things about myself beyond superficial things they could find out anywhere. So, yeah-pretty much a pessimist.

Night or Day: I tend to like night better. That's when most of my work gets done, and when I do most of my writing. Plus, my dorm quiets down, and there aren't idiots running up and down the stairs yelling. And that's always a plus.

Leader or Follower: I'm a leader, but that's not hard to do considering I have the most indecisive bunch of friends on the entire PLANET! And no, I'm not even kidding. They can't even decide what restaurant to go to most times; they'll turn to me and say, "Krueger! You decide, we can't choose!" Me: *facepalm* Or if there's an awkward silence in a discussion group I'm in (this happened a LOT in high school), I'll just take charge and ask a question, if only to break the silence.

Laid-Back or Tense: I'm pretty laid back-whatever happens, happens. Tensing up and freaking up about it isn't going to do anyone any good. All it's going to do is stress you out, and that pretty much sucks.

Realist or Dreamer: Definitely more of a dreamer. I like to imagine that things aren't what they seem, things that don't exist do, etc. I like to read a lot, and I use that as an escape, putting myself in the story as an observer.

Favourites:

Movies Batman Begins, The Boondock Saints, Constantine, Van Helsing, Alexander...the list goes on and on

Books "Movies in 15 Minutes" by Cleolinda Jones, "The Historian" by Elizabeth Kostova, "Judge & Jury" by James Patterson, "Bard: The Odyssey of the Irish" by Morgan Llywellyn, "The Other Boleyn Girl" by Phillipa Gregory (actually, pretty much anything by Phillipa Gregory), the list goes on and on-just like the movies, lol

Music Oh good LORD...if I were to take maybe...1/6th of the artists from my iTunes, the list would probably need another app by itself. But as for what I'm listening to right now...Bon Jovi, AC/DC, Trace Adkins, Tracy Lawrence, the Sweeney Todd movie OST, Big & Rich, The Fray, etc., etc.

Artist (optional) Like...painting artist? I don't really have one single favorite, but I do have a painting that's my current favorite:
Van Gogh's Starry Night

Color Pretty much any shade of blue. Oh, and black. Not because I'm "goth" or "emo", but because it goes with pretty much anything.

Would you attempt the impossible, even if you were told it couldn't be done? I do, all the damn time. It's like telling a 5-year-old child they can't have something-automatically they want it more than ever. Then I just have to try harder than ever.

Would you do what you thought was right, even without the help or support of others? Yes, if for no other reason than being able to meet my own eyes in the mirror the next day. Plus, I was raised to stand up for what I believe in, even (and sometimes particularly) if it goes against the grain.

Are you dependable? People tell me I am, but even when I can't do something for them because outside circumstances prevents it, I still feel really guilty. But my philosophy is, if I tell you I'm going to do something, I do it.

Who or What would you lay in front of a tank for? Well, it had BETTER be something or someone I love dearly. I'm not putting life and limb on the line for Joe Anybody I met 5 minutes ago. I'd probably do it for my friends (particularly the ones that have helped me through my crises and freak-outs) or my family. Yes, even my pain-in-the-ass little brother.

The Movies and Characters-

Favorite Johnny character and why?: Dean Corso. He makes absolutely no apologies for who and what he is-a ruthless antique book dealer who will stop at nothing to make the biggest profit he can. He's the kind of businessman most businessmen wish they could be (if they aren't that way already).

Which character do you relate to most and why?: J.M. Barrie. I'm very much a dreamer, and if I was any good at it, I could see myself writing a play one day. Plus, I make friends with little kids fairly easily, and I like to write down ideas for stories, or work on my writing in the middle of just about anything.

Favorite scene from with a Johnny character in it? I LOVE the scene in The Libertine where he's giving the speech to Parliament, telling them that the bill to keep the king's brother from succeeding to the throne should be thrown out. Here is this extremely selfish man, who's dying of syphilis, finally stepping up and doing something for someone else. Plus, his humor is very dry, and (to me, at least) very funny.

Favorite quotes by Johnny characters (no more then three):
1. "It was the greatest feeling I ever had. Followed abruptly by the worst feeling I ever had."
-George Jung in Blow

2. "...And for that reason, it is said that no good Protestant can speak against this bill. And yet sir, I can but not forebear to offer some objections against it. But, the question will arise in the minds of some lords here present, as to whether I am, indeed, a good Protestant."
-John Wilmot in The Libertine

3. "I do. I'm Mr. Sweeney Todd from Fleet Street. I have opened a bottle of Pirelli's Elixer and I say to you, it is nothing but an arrant fraud, concocted from piss and ink. Furthermore, Signor, I have serviced no kings, yet I wager that I can shave a cheek with ten times more dexterity than any street mountebank."
-Sweeney Todd in Sweeney Todd

Favorite Johnny Character movie, and why?: Well, I haven't seen them all, but when I checked the list of characters, I was kind of surprised with how many I had seen. And out of the one's I've seen, my favorite is Secret Window. I've read the book as well, so the changes they made were noticeable, but not too maddening. Plus, the psychological element is really quite fascinating. He creates a whole new person, and he has NO idea that he's doing it. And he slowly starts to go crazy...GREAT movie. And Blow is a very close 2nd.
