Catching UP and staying ALIVE

Love is a tricky word. Love is something that you are very lucky to have and should treasure forever. I know from experience that life without love can be very dark, that sometimes people use love as a motive to get something else that they want, and that love is something that humans thrive on.

Everyone deserves some type of love, whether it's an intimate love, family love, or just friendship love.

Mu opposite would be a pretty big bastard. He'd hate kids and wouldn't care about his friend's or family's happiness. He'd flaunt his earnings as an actor and would be a predator in the jungle of relationships. An uncaring, cold bastard who would take lovers and leave them without a second thought.

Though, being my *exact* opposite he might not even be an actor, he could be a poor, untalented man who grew up in a house with both parents around, went through high school and college, and ended up with nothing.

The farthest I've been from Kentucky was to Japan for a movie premiere. The 12 hour flight was extremely boring and the stewardess kept coming up and down the aisles asking if anyone wanted tea. The premiere went very well and there was the usual hoarde of scary, obsessive fans. Other than that it was beautiful there. The cherry blossoms were in bloom, powdering everything in soft pink petals and the people are very kind and generous. I would love to go back sometimes, there's a festival where you get drunk off your ass then run down 600 steep steps of an old temple carrying flaming torches.*

* - This festival is called Otoumatsuri."
