There isn't one. Only way to do it is save your play lists as a txt file, and just remake them.

now i have a similar question for you. since my files have floated off into mid air and i had to re install itunes, i have to like re import my songs but from my ipod, which i think is like illegal or something cause i don't know how to do it. plus, i want my playlists too. please help oh wise mac one =)

pain in the ass, but possible, very possible. I know for a fact that i can get the songs of your pod. It's called iPod agent. Know do get the playlist, you would have to import the songs in a specific order. and then use iTunes make the playlist. It would take a good hour - two depending on how many songs, and connection speed. But it is possible. For further assistace, we will talk.
