I love those chart representations of popular music. Abi talked about them recently, and I remembered a time when I designed 10 slides of the first verse of NWA's Gangsta Gangsta.
1. George Miller (psycholinguist, came up with the theory that short-term memory can hold 7±2 items at a time. 2. Neal Miller (neobehaviourist dealing with aggression and conflict) 3. Miller and Konorski (Russian reflexologists who discovered instrumental conditioning) 4. Jacques-Alain Miller (psychoanalyst influenced by Jaques Lacan)
The first one is a theory we use in Computer Science a lot to guide the amount of information that one particular class should hold. Usually, a well written program will have classes with 5-9 methods.
When we were learning about it in class, we learned about a bird that can only hold one thing in memory, so that researches took eggs from her nest and when she came back she didn't notice, until the last egg was gone.
And apparently the animal with the highest capacity? Sheep Dog. 14-16. Wow.

P.S. I'm studying for a history test tomorrow involving four different people with the last name "Miller". You guys should diversify for my sake.
