Belated Hair Update

I'm on a bus to Boston and I just had a rather in depth conversation about my sisterlocks this morning, so I think it's time for me to make the official update to my lj. My sisterlock anniversary is on September 12th. My locks are now bit over 2 years and 2 months old. Here are some photos showing their progression.

Thank you! Apparently my mother likes the curls as well, but in true mother fashion she made that known that by contrasting a compliment with an insult about how my hair looked when I came home in September...you know, when I had that ovarian cyst. ::sigh::

I achieved that look with rollers. I'm basically using thin plastic rods rollers. I like the look, but it always looks better the 2nd day than the first because the curls have relaxed. Maybe I should get bigger rollers?
