Within the Holidays
I'm watching Top Chef and waiting for Lavonda to arrive at my apartment. Today's episode features cooking for Christmas (the holidays), and I realized that these chefs had to pretend that it was Christmas-time when they were filming. Good news!
Or not so good news. It's one of the two. I somehow have fleas in my apartment. It turns out that I wasn't being relentlessly attacked by mosquitos, err...well, not just being relentlessly attacked by mosquitos. Obama wins! I am so happy that I've started crying. I'm proud to be an American. I don't think I've ever before said that in earnest. I do feel pride. I do feel hope. I can now wholeheartedly say that I look forward to the new year. What a day to be alive. -
