Sand is still stuck in her hair, under her nails, riding along in folds of her clothes, there seems to be more than there should be. She looks displeased, but not angry- let down perhaps. I have had a lapse in the teaching of my people, and was careless.
The desert had to remind me of that.

I guess it's not worse than you being covered in salt though is it?

Usually I don't mind. But the clothes people wear here and not conducive to keeping sand out of... out of anywhere really.
