A lab accident caused me to go to the ER. It wouldn't have been so bad, but the chemical I got in the wound, P2O5, turns into phosphoric acid when exposed to water. Thinking, "I have to get the glass shards out!" I ran the cut under water, and caused an acid burn

Yeah, there are a couple acids I would absolutely love to avoid forever. But acid burns just really itch, it's not horrible. Unless you get them into a cut. =/
