Getting myself a place to stay had top priority. The rest was easy, it took just a bit of messing with the device.

Well, there are codes - combinations of text and punctuation that somehow tell the device to make a filter. I got mine from a friend.

Well, not exactly with this device, no, but back home we had some fairly high-technology devices, too. Some things appear to be similar with all of them. I'm far from being a master with these things, I just try everything until it works or the Doc fixes it.

But I admit I had more problems with it than expected - back home we usually had at least manuals.

Anyway, yes, I understand your concern and there are two others from my world, at least they were all I've found. But one of them wouldn't give them to me even if hell froze over and the other is Samiel. I do not think it would go over well asking Samiel, the very devil who killed me, for codes.

...These two are actually the reason I need them so much, you know?
