I probably shouldn't post at 1:40am, as I tend to get a little too lost in my thoughts late at night (when I'm alone, anyway), and I almost inevitably end up depressing myself somehow. Interesting. That's how I would describe you. I don't think that you are boring in the slightest. It's all about personality, seriously. I could be a really shallow person who has just been a lot of places and done a lot of things. But, like you said, you are happy. That's what's important. You have tons of time. Plus, you can come visit me in Japan when I'm lonely and we can go on adventures. You can start to "catch up" or whatever. Thanks so much for cheering me up yesterday! You're the bestest.

And thank you for putting things in perspective. I know that being happy is what's important. I think it's more that I know I want to go all over the world and see and experience all sorts of things, so really I'm just kind of impatient. But to be honest, it's more important to know I cheered you up than to go on any adventures. That made me happy reading that. Thanks for being an awesome friend.

Wow if you think you are falling behind and missing opportunities...what you must think of me, eh? It's funny how I never read your journal but then here I read a story of you feeling...well like this. I am your friend, right? You're supposed to talk to me.

Anyways, Daniel--I think you are very successful for your age. You're only 21 and will have a bach's degree and many honors along with it. As far as traveling...well you've decided to work on your basic education first. You just wait and see opportunities will bury you in a year. You're my hero, my inspiration. I suppose that isn't saying much considering what a loser I am, but I love you and I decided to stay in school because of you.
