A small observation from the bookstore

Men buying cards is somehow amusing. Generally when women come in looking for cards, they spend a solid 10-15 minutes browsing at our selection. Then they tend to buy three, four, five cards at a time. Men, on the other hand, come in, walk straight to the cards, select one in under 30 seconds, pay, and leave. That's very interesting. I don't really buy cards, I tend to make them. But I bought this set of 10 blank cards from Borders once because I liked them and thought I could use them for thank you notes and whatnot... I wasn't looking for cards. BUT, I was with Therese recently as she was looking for a wedding card for her brother and sister-in-law and she spent a long time looking. And bought one.
