Yay! Finally a post that doesn't involve icons! :O But yea,
xxx_sakurai, I'll try and finish your LJ info banner soon. Probably by tomorrow. I'll get those songs up for you as well (sorry I only have 5 of theirs..)
Saturday was fun! Miko & I left early for Heritage Days since it opened at 10AM, but we ended up having to wait for 45 minutes because the first bus from Davies lot wasn't suppposed to arrive until 11:15... =__= But yea! We mostly just ended up walking around and sampling food. The chicken & beef satay from the Malaysia tent was the greatest thing. Evar. Srsly. I bought some little things from the Hawaii, Japan, and Vietnam booths. After that, we went back to his house and watched House of Flying Daggers. The movie was alright; I liked the fight scenes! :DD Andy Lau's acting was really disappointing to me, though..then again, I'm only used to his acting with Sammi Cheng. XD;
Then Sunday after work, we went to eat at opm (mmm..ginger beef...) to kill time before watching Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby. This movie...fucking BRILLIANT. God, how I do love Will Ferrell. So yea, everyone, go watch this now. Unless you're not into that kind of thing.....BUT GO WATCH NOW. KTHX.
Monday..Civic holiday! No work for me, so no double pay. BUT! I did get to see Jamie today, whom I haven't seen since I graduated. I missed him. D: First he was gonna bail on me because something came up, but he ended up 'sneaking out' so that we could go to Heritage Days again. Wooo. Luh him. :D He was originally supposed to be a volunteer at the Japan tent, so he ended up staying there to help out instead of going around. Killed time by walking around, eating more, and buying more random stuff. I did run into some other friends and we caught the performance at the India tent. The little girls were adorable. :DD We also caught the lion dance at the Borneo tent, which was actually really good. I've got pictures of it on my camera, but you know me..still too lazy to actually set up the program. I'LL DO IT THIS WEEK, I PROMISE!! Well, we only stayed until 4 because Jamie had to get back, but Miko & I met up with Jay & Kim to go bowling. So we just spent the rest of the night doing that and bowling our money playing at the arcade. Shooting games are the greatest; we blew at least $25 at Time Crisis 3 alone. I'll have to try House of the Dead 4 next time. :DDD
Now onto some random ass memes to make up for my lack of actualy postage!

Yea..you don't actually have to do this unless you're bored like me.
(I don't understand the bolding part and stuff, so I'll just ignore that...*cough* Nelly Furtado's "Promiscuous" is a good song though, Robin!)
