Well yesterday before I got to work, 2 teenagers decided to try and rob one of the jewelry booths in the trade center. They walked in behind the owner and when they reached the booth the smashed the glass case in, grabed as much as they could and ran towards the loading docks which were still open for the venders to move in stock. What a fucking waste. The potential loss of human life..and for what? Some meaningless baubles they probably would have sold for drugs.

Oh how awful. You are right, people like that have no conception of the meaning of human life. Horrifying.

I will keep Eric in my prayers, and ask Thom and others to do the same.

I posted a new update on Eric... His condition wasn't as bad as I was origonally told, thankfully, but he did suffer serious lacerations to the face and had reconstructive surgery yesterday afternoon. I guess he is home right now resting and trying to figure out how this whole thing just happened out of nowhere... It's gotta be tough, you just can't plan for things like this in life. Thanks to everyone who sent their blessings, I'll be sure to tell him as soon as he feels alright enough to let people see him.
