That's interesting that December is wedding season in India. Is there a religious/cultural reason for that, or is the weather just better for it at that time of year?

It's a religiously auspicious time for about two months, then there's like, a 3 month gap and then another auspicious time. So no escaping it really. It was kinda amusing to see the grooms all riding around on white horses or the ridiculously elaborate horse drawn carriages they came up with (made Cinderella look bad). We saw, just traveling around, probably about 14 different weddings in process or being set up or taken down. There's elaborate halls set up for them and even in the countryside they're easy to spot. One place they were painting pink circles on their white cows and then the cows were wandering through the wedding feast.
