Sorry about the stomach issues - that sounds like it really sucked! (Yet somehow I'm still hungry for Indian food now after reading your post.)

Lol. Well I do keep posting delicious food pics. And I had pretty much planned to fall ill on this trip since everyone does. You're supposed to wait a few days to see if the antibiotics are required but I've never had diarrhea that bad in such a short period of time so I just took them right away and that took care of the problem. Probably the best way to deal with Indian microbes to be honest.

Oooooh the Indian trains!! So many memories! I actually found 3AC class to be pretty comfortable, but then again, I actually got to travel in Sleeper class which was ten times more crowded and cold and noisy and smelly than the AC cars... Still, earplugs and masks (and sleeping bags) will help you sleep.

I hope you get well soon from the stomach troubles! :P I used to eat plain rice with dahi when I was sick, and it helped a bit. Rest and enjoy your trip!! :)

This is being posted after my trip but ironically I got sick again after I got home so the well wishes are appreciated either way:D I really enjoyed the kheer with honey while we were in Hampi. I like probiotics.

R. tells me that 3AC used to be a lot nicer or possibly is just nicer in other parts of India. Either way, we both had a miserable night.
