I can't believe the World Cup is finally here and the first match has been played. Due to the dreadful time difference, I was up by 5 am watching the opening ceremony. I can hardly think what I have to do on days where some games start at 4:30 am! Although I doubt I will wake up for a 4:30 am S.Korea-Greece or a Algeria-Slovenia game..they will be

Aaarrrgghh! I shouldn't have read this until I watched the match! (It's starting in a few minutes...the re-run.)

About Dos Santos...Barcelona actually sold him to Tottenham Hotspur and Spurs have him out on loan to Besiktas (or is it Panathanaikos?) in Turkey. He wants to play and needs the experience, but he can't break into Spurs first team. :(

aww I'm sorry, next time I will warn about spoilers. I hate knowing the result before watching the match too.

Oh no, it's OK. You didn't 'spoil' it for me. While I was watching the Uruguay-France match the commentators talked about the previous one and showed highlights so I knew how it had turned out. I wanted to watch it anyway because I really like Mexico. :)
