Day 2 Match Reactions

Even though today is Saturday I didn't feel like getting up at 4 am to watch the South Korea-Greece game. Today had the much anticipated Argentina debut and the overly hyped rivalry match between the US and the England. I agree with you on these matches. To tell the truth, they've all been rather disappointing so far. Even though Argentina won and they were rather convincing as a team, I felt that most of the hyped-up forward players could have done better. Only Messi was truly outstanding, being beaten only by an even more outstanding Nigerian goalkeeper ( ... )

hmm that's an interesting point... the veteran defenders and midfielders are the ones scoring goals. Hopefully the young forwards will get more adapted later in the tournament. But the countries so far player arent' exactly known for their goal scoring abilities (and Argentina is more of an odd case due to Maradona) Hopefully Germany, HOlland, Brazil and Spain will provide us with plenty of goals in the coming days!

So true! We haven't seen most of the European teams yet, nor Brazil, so I'm sure there will be lots of goals to come, and from the strikers too!
