AAAh this is one of my all time favorite books. I LOVE your art too. Does this mean we will be seeing MORE of this in the future? Also is this just for fun?
this is so cool to see. Nice work, I think you got the feel of the thing down. That is such a winkle in time carpet. I reallly like that Mrs Murry drawing.
Um, where can I even start?! This is amazing! I absolutely love your style; this illustration has so much going on in it, I find something new each time I look.
Agreed, awesome carpet.
Your line quality and strong gestural flow really compliment all the textures in the colors. I especially love the shadows.
This is REALLY remarkable. But I'm not sure exactly what the assignment is: Are you transcribing in hand-writing the entire book w/ illustrations to match? Or are you just doing a summary? Sorry if I sound doddery; all this on-line reading is new to me. Anyways, your illustrations more than match the charm of the text. Tough angle there in that first illo-- but it all pops. SO accomplished.
For the picturebookreport.com, each of the 15 illustrators chose a book and once a month we each contribute the next illustration from the book on the blog so by the end of the year we will have illustrated the entire book. The A Wrinkle in Time is kinda complicated so all of my hand lettering and summarizing is just to make sure the thing is vaguely coherent.
The blog is super impressive you should mos definitely check it out! And thanks for your kind words as always!
