That sucks because it looked promising.

I've come to find out that a paid film critic is a dumb film critic.

This is an example. Take horror films for instance. Where there are scenes of gore or violence I laugh, we laugh, but girls be it, the easily scared type or under the age of seventeen, find these scenes not only digusting but scary. So where I can honestly say "When a Stranger Calls" was cheesy and stupid, a fourteen year old girl may not agree with me.

Comedy. Those that are used to British humor, liked or appreciated the dry humor Nicholas Cage and Michael Caine offered in "The Weather Man", but others who weren't, didn't like the film but that isn't to say it was a bad film. This is why I try to go see movies or rent movies that critics suggest doing otherwise just to make sure I'm not going to like it or just to make sure I'll agree with them.

There is no such thing as a "bad film", just a film that the general public deemed as bad. One man's stupid movie might be another's favorite.

the movie was horrible, dont ever waste time or money on it. i thought napoleon dynomite was horrible, this was just as bad. Both movies have a FEW good scenes but over all is a waste and bad film making.
