I had planned a trip to Chicago today, but I was not going to go alone.  The two local friends of mine who had tentatively planned to go both bailed on me.  So not only did I miss the following, which was the planned target...

Technically that's not a "Royal Hudson", but it is a CP Hudson. The Royals were slightly larger and semi-streamlined.

The blue unit is UP 2001, one of the "Olympic Torch Relay" units used on the rail-borne segments of the torch's travel to the 2002 Salt Lake Winter Olympics. Surprisingly neither it nor its twin 2002 have been repainted.
