Some very nice pictures there. I know I've said it a bunch of times before, but it just seems so weird seeing those towns with train tracks running right down the middle of a street.
Very nice shots. I like the old crossbuck you photographed in Danville, its been a while since I've seen one of those. Nice cabbage under a coaling tower too. I really like the colors on the EVWR units.
*grin* Most excellent piccies, sir, truly a vacation well-spent! I knew about the whole "division of CP East from CP West" bit, but not about the St Lawrence and Hudson. Amazing what little devices the railroads will come up with to keep themselves afloat financially, isn't it?
All in all, an excellent set of pics of Grainger country railroading at its finest! *grin* I loved seeing those old SOO locomotives, especially the one still in SOO red-and-white. Not too many of those around anymore. :)
