I think I want to start ordering everything that I can via INTERNETS.  Yesterday I burned a couple of hours and a couple of gallons of gas driving to three different stores plus wandering the local shopping mall just to find an alarm clock radio that a) I liked and b) was in stock beyond a display model that I wouldn't be sold so that other people

Well, for new computer: I advice perusal of http://www.tomshardware.com, for solid guides on performance, video cards, and the like.

For a computer desk, I have one of these: http://www.studiorta.com/catalog/details.cfm?catalog_id=151 They are an easy afternoon's assembly, last reasonably well, and the ability of vertical storage of things like printer, scanner, speakers is an excellent thing. :)

For a new bed: Well, you know your tastes, but I recommend checking out an Ikea before you commit to anything.
