Home again, home again.

Added New York to the list of states I've visited, got to splash my feet in a cold, crystal-clear river for the first time in many years,  and for the first time (period) I got to hear what a 3600-horsepower ALCO engine sounds like at full throttle.

Less than a half-hour and I'm all caught up on email, LJ, Faceboook, and FA

Thank you for the bat. It is in a handy place for Desu to use it, should she find the need. She is a lace-knitting fiend, these days. And working two FT jobs, one of them paid, and school full time as well. Busy. Imagine: School all day, a short nap, work all afternoon and evening, then late at night drive up to her OTHER job working graveyard so she can come home at 4:30 AM and turn in for sleep around then or maybe just before I get up for work at 5:30 AM. That's her schedule these days. Oddly enough, she seems a lot more relaxed than a month ago. Go figure.
