The other night I went to see Reverend Horton Heat play in a small club.  The video gives an idea of what it was like, only better -- rather than a big stage and light show, the band was on a small corner stage that people could walk right to the edge of. Very excellent.. and sounds like a perfect rockin' experience. I'm hoping sometime I'll get to see the Rev in concert.. they played at Toad's not long ago but I had to work. :P

I also own concert earplugs which are rather good for taming loudness of music, but I keep forgetting 'em. :P
