Happy 4th
It's been an irritating few days. I didn't do anything Friday, because my father spontaneously decided the trees were getting "too thick" in our yard- as he does each spring when trees, y'know, grow- and when I woke up he was out whacking limbs and assorted overgrowth down with a chainsaw on a pole. Society sucks. I'm not its idea of normal either. I 'drive people away'...if this makes you feel any better. PLUS. You MUST keep in mind that A) This town is tiny, and B) Pretty much everyone in it sucks. Sucks hard.
So.
Though this will come as no surprise to you and is certainly nothing new to hear, with towns as small and generally narrow-minded as ours and its neighbors, it's difficult for people like us to find anyone who's even worth talking with, let alone anyone who understands you.
And
Congratulations on the certification! I'm glad to hear you're feeling a bit positive, at least about some things. One other thing - my opinion on negativity? I think it's only good for humor. Otherwise yes, it does get old quickly (I often get tired of my own cynicism).
Also, where do you live? *stalk*
