You know what would be nice?

A nice vanilla milkshake, but due to my accursed heritage, "it's common for mexicans to become lactose intolerant." I'm not even a full blooded mexican. Curse you mother! Curse you a thousand times! Damn my inability to process certain proteins properly! I think that in the end, the coroner will say, "Yes, he died from lack of milkshake. It's rare ( Read more... )

Glad to see you're in good spirits. You crack me up. No milkshake for Derek. You poor thing!! Sorry to bug you, just thought I'd check up on you to see how you were doing since the Kodi deal. Have you heard any updates? Thought I'd check. I'll see if I can find a way so that you can have a milkshake. Crap. Now I want one. :P Take care

Us peeps of asian/pacific islander descent have the same grim reaper of lactose intolerance lurking around.

Of course his cloak would be a nice creamy off-white color. Remencient of curds...or is is whey? I never did figure that out.

Anywhey...yeah I really like cheese so this could be trouble for me in the future.

*makes Derek a lactose free/pleasure full vanilla milkshake*

Try it, you might like it. I hear it brings all the boys to the yard...

PS: I'm gonna thank you again for devirginizing my comments on my journal...I'll thank you offically on mines though. Hope you got a place for all this gratitude. ;)

Hey, my name is Derek and and I am lactose intolerant! Those evil disaccharide sugars!

There are certain pills that contain the enzymes that break down lactose... pricy they can be, but you can have milk shakes!

I have been told about these pills that help, but I find it aggravating that I should have to take something just to be able to enjoy something.

Now that is just cruel. Evidently one to kick a man when he is down eh? To tell the truth, the desire for the milkshake has passed, but I think that if it should rear it's ugly head again, i will just bite the bullet and have one regardless of pain and/or discomfort.

Is there such thing as soy milkshakes that don't taste like poo? That would work.

My wonderful stepmother found for me a lactose free milk called "dairy-ease" and it is better tasting than regular milk, but as of yet, I am unaware of any lactose free ice-creams. I don't doubt there are some out there, but find myself confined to the whims of the local grocery store.
