Well, not really, but the stores are beginning to close and that's good enough for me...
Has anyone else noticed all these self-proclaimed pretty people that
seem intent on proving how much better looking they are than everyone
else? I've been looking around and I have seen far too many of these
people lately. far too many. I've read a few of their journals and they
consist mostly of surveys or quizzes where they have to list how much
better they are than everyone else and how much they love their prada
bags. ugh. Like we need to be told. First off, they aren't better than
anyone, and secondly, we don't need to know how much you love your
prada bag, it goes without saying. I mean, I love my prada bag but do I
tell everyone? No. (I don't really have one, but I thought I might try
to inject some humour into this otherwise boring slandering.)
I for one think it is ridiculous. So what if they are good-looking? Can
they write? Can they sing? Can they contribute anything of value to the
world besides their glistening-white smile and spray-on tans? Yes, our
bodies are our temples and we should take care of them, but there comes
a point where enough is enough. Now I'm not saying all pretty
people are stupid or that having confidence is a sin, I myself am
deluded enough to think that I'm fairly attractive, but don't these
people see there is more to life?
Well, I think I kinda ran outta steam there, so I'll leave it at that. Take it easy everyone.
