I found you a good while ago and was fascinated by you building your house and your interesting travels. I just read in your profile about your travels journal and joined that. I also like learning from people who think differently than me, who make lifestyle choices based on their convictions, and who strive to just be honest and open. I'm afraid my journal is woefully boring. I often rant and complain about my life that feels like it's not my own, and yet I made the choices to get where I am. Therefore, reading about someone who chooses to not conform just for the sake of fitting in or "being normal" is very inspiring and refreshing.
