METAAAAAAAAAAAAL!

Went to see Fear Factory, Decapitated, and Suffocation at the Metro in Chicago tonight. Two downsides to the evening: first off, Mike got there too late and the show was sold out. Major drag too, they came all that way for nothing and I had to catch the show alone. Second, it made me really really REALLY miss my super long hair. So rarely do you ( Read more... )

Sweet as tits? *sighs while shaking head* Men... ;)

LOL, marry a rich woman and be a trophy husband :p
But yeah, housekeeping sucks... hell, what work doesn't ;)

Your hair will grow back hon you know that... but yeah for now headbanging isn't all that either I take it?
So, how're the ears buzzing?

Surprisingly, they're not that bad...I think the acoustics at this venue were a bit better or something...after the Celtic Frost concert I could barely hear a thing, but right now my hearing is okay...still a brutal show though. ;)

I know my hair will grow back, but now it's gonna take a long time, and patience is not one of my virtues...

and hell yeah sweet as tits, there's loud music, throat-punching percussion, and let's face it, there's nothing sexier than curvy women in tight black clothing with long dark hair, it's a term that describes an amalgamation of excellence! :D

Oh, bah, CLICHES. but then again, better curvy than the alternative (anorexia anybody...)

your hair WILL grow back...lol...i think you should dye it black.

i can't see you as a trophy husband...

Cliches? Well at least metal fans ignore the Hollywood image and have much better and more diverse body styles...whatever's natural right?

Black...no...as much as I love black hair, I don't think it would look right on me, not dyed anyway...I'd pull off a trophy husband more naturally...it would be great, I'd just spend the day working out and playing instruments, letting the help make me food and clean the mansion...ah good stuff... :D

So did you hear if they were absent? I read on their site that they were having problems with bus companies here in the states, I'm pretty sure that was Fear Factory that went right on after Suffocation. The singer of Hypocrisy has long hair right? Oh well, sounded like Fear Factory, though I am not too familiar with their stuff, only vaguely...though I am now a Decapitated fan...bummer that Hypocrisy wasn't there...

Concert buddy sounds good, we shall have to check out that show...

Damn, I wish I had a concert buddy... hmmm, mebbe I should contact my old movie buddy...
Or see if the other intern is interested, seriously that girl rocks... my boss was right about the two of us getting along :p

Derek as a trophy husband... nah the thing is he doesn't look like a trophy husband... those are tan, have bleached blond hair... nah, wouldn't work...

I agree with you Gowri, better curvy than having bones sticking out... seriously sometimes you wonder if they ever poke someone's eye out with their shoulder or elbow or whatnot...

I dunno, older women seem to dig the long hair, I think I may get away with being a pastey brownhair... :D

Take intern girl to shows, hell yeah, gots to have a concert buddy, unless you're going to pick up dudes...in which case come to a concert in Chicago :D

Hmmm, come to Chicago... I would, but that would make a simple concert ticket cost 10 times more... I'm afraid I don't make that much money... Well, I'm sure when I'm done with school and got a real job I can afford it some time, but 'till then sorry hon...
How 'bout you come visit the dutch coffeeshops some time?
