Actually, someone took them to work with them.
When asked for a reason, they replied with, "Oh, I guess I grabbed them absent-mindedly."

Hmmmm...we sometimes have a "key pile" at working seeing as we don't have lockers for our belongings.
I haven't lost mine yet.
