What a whirlwind life has been lately! Let's see, in the past two weeks we've won our fight for the kids, so my household has grown from two to five. We bought a car. A 2010 Chevy HHR. Our first big purchase together, very exciting! We are in the process of looking for a house to rent while we go through the long process of looking for one to buy. ( Read more... ) -

Today is my son's 6th birthday. Such mixed emotions.
I'm thrilled to see him growing up and to see the sort of person he is turning out to be....but I'm devastated to be losing my chubby, cuddly, little baby! As many of you know, I met ny_giants_dad here on LiveJournal back in January of this year, we then met in person for the first time in April, and as of last night we took the next step. He proposed....in the most romantic of ways...with the most beautiful of rings! 04102012, that's the date we've picked out. Fitting, I think.
