I dont know what the hell is up, but there have been a massive increase in the number of GIANT FUCKING SPIDERS all over the house. Everywhere I turn I see them. I've noticed more spiders in my apartment too
My friend caught the biggest on a few days ago and oput it outside, it was toonie sized (two dollar coin). The biggest I've seen in Canada for sure...she wouldn't let me kill it :(

I'm with you. I have no problems with spiders outside my house, but inside they die.

Maybe you need to "bomb" your place, (after removing kitty and all other living things you want to survive.) We had to do it a few times when I was growing up. The biggest pain in the ass is cleaning all the dishes and surfaces afterward.
