Mmm, while it's certainly interesting, it doesn't seem like they care that much about China except insofar as it's selling arms to Mugabe, and even then not very much. (As the article points out, China is well within its right to do so; no international organization has an arms embargo on Zimbabwe. And it's not as if Europe or the US is particularly responsible about where its arms end up.)
I think it's a useful catalyst for more consideration of the Zimbabwe issue by both China and South Africa, but more so the latter, and given that I don't really think it matters where the weapons came from. Still, the more people who get convinced Mbeki needs to change tactics, the better. (And people say *China* has human rights issues. Sure, but at least it hasn't had a government-induced famine in the last, er, nearly 50 years!)
Might be itll put more pressure in Zimbabwe than China. Thought I feel like it might make China's line on Darfur look weaker. Although China gives Sudan similar support too, it tends not to have light shed on it in such a dramatic way.
