funny. I was thinking about you earlier today, and how I'm bummed that I haven't gotten a bigger chance to read House of Leaves.

Wanna go to the NEW WING!!!!! of the MIA soon? I haven't gotten any writing done, to be honest, but whatev. We can still chill, and you can judge me the whole time for my lack-of-commitment to my art. Sound good?

Also: our box wine/classy night needs to progress into the active planning phase. After these next couple weeks (read: academic hell), I'm gonna need me some box wine.

no, remember, we never made it to the new wing (hell, w/ my suckiness at finding the damn place we barely made it there)...we wandered around the rest of the museum, seeing things that have been there for years, and managed to utterly miss the brand spanking new part of the MIA. My sister asked me what I thought about it, to which I replied, "Um...it was very nice," or something along those lines. I then confessed through tears of embarassment and despair at our lack of knowledge about up-and-coming developments and she mocked me.

I stole a book--huge--on Mapplethorpe last year. If I find it, it's all yours. His stuff was so so good.

Ever finish your paper? heh. Speaking of that, I ran into SARA SIK at the grocery store today.

Also.

This is probably old news for you, but Damien Rice is coming to the Orpheum on Dec 20th and tickets went up for sale yesterday. Thought you should know.
