last friday, my family went to a korean restaurant.
we walked in and saw that almost everyone there was asian.
my dad said: "there's so many orientals here. it must be authentic"
i almost died. idk if anyone heard.
my FOB dad has no sense of PC at all!

ugh, parents. i used to go to college in the adirondacks. the only people who go there are local kids or city kids who get the whole way paid for them, so half the population is black. my dad would be standing in the middle of my dorm and i'd ask how he got in and he'd say a black guy let him in. i'd be like who cares just say a guy let you in. the racial tension is so high there with black kids attacking the white kids and i was like you are gonna get me beaten dude!

not at all, some of my best friends are black. sorry, bad joke. i thought it might sound that way as i typed it out. i honestly do hold a lot of resentment toward the city kids at my first school, both white and black ones. they had this sense of entitlement, would show up to class late without work done and lose the books and $100 calculators that they didn't even have to pay for. i started tutoring them only to quit when it was apparent that they were just taking away my study time and didn’t give a shit. eop was a way for the school to get a larger population of students with greater diversity, but you don't work as hard at school when you don't have o pay for anything yourself. the only racism i saw was one-sided there. i had a girl tell me 'white cracker, i'm gonna kill you.' because my friend was squirting me with water when she walked around the corner. they were extremely tense times. my next college was so different, such a wonderful diversity of accepting individuals. so yes, i've had some bad experiences and i'm sorry if

if anti-white racism was the only kind of racism you saw there, you def weren't looking hard enough. e.g. the fact that so many people of color are economically disadvantaged is racism.
