I use to think John Simm was pretty much the best actor in the entire world. Everything I've seen him in has been incredibly believable, and hard to see as the same actor in everything.

And then I saw the first episode of The Devil's WhoreI've come to the conclusion that John Simm can not act, and really just bases all his characters on his own

The only thing. ONLY ONLY ONLY thing worse than American Life on Mars is Grey's Anatomy.

Last weeks American Life on Mars, which was supposed to be comparable to the last episode of the first season of UK Life on Mars (aka an awesome season finale)........was SO BORING. I found myself staring at the wall several times instead of the screen, and it was actually much more entertaining to look at the wall.

Yeah, he just seemed ridiculously out of place the entire time. I felt like he came from the future, and was trying desperately hard to fit in....and doing a very bad job of it. His voice is way too modern sounding, too.

Poor John Simm, but no more period dramas for you, plz.
