I saw the funniest thing today on campus. A squirrel ran down from a tree, carrying what looked to be a saltine cracker. Two more of them were chasing it. As it sprints across the lawn, a small flock of seagulls all decend upon it trying to get at the cracker. I laughed. Poor squirrel.

I'm sure you could make a metaphor for life out of that easily. Anytime you get something good for yourself, those closest to you try and take it. If you try and keep from sharing with them, you end up getting torn apart by those who have no relation to you at all.

Or it's just animals looking for food, whatever.
