You said the third book was better/paced better, right. Do you think you could conceivably like. Start from that book and still follow the story? Or am I going to be totally lost without the first two.

haaaaaaaaaa well TO BE FAIR THE DRAGONS ARENT GAY. They are like steampunk and talk. but book 1 does contain dudes being gay for each other. Book 2 contains the best character so far being just plain gay and no dragons (but asians?). Book 3 has no homos but asians AND a dragon.
