Things I've seen in the past few weeks
-A baby named Galahad wearing a helmet. This was the only thing I saw at the art museum.
-A little girl in a stroller singing alternate lines of "The Alphabet Song" and "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star." ("A B C D E F G...How I wonder what you are...")
-A library receipt. A woman named Christine Clements took out four books: "Credit Scores, Credit Cards," "Hiking and Backpacking," "The Cat Inside" and "How to Say it in your job."
-A frustrated reminder to "CALL MISTY GLENN!"
-A man playing an acoustic guitar. He seemed to only know Hank Williams songs. But I'm sure as hell not complaining. In fact, I think he was Hank Williams.
-In the same day, two children being yelled at by two different fathers for mowing the lawn incorrectly.
-Multiple misspellings of "Your" and "You're." Aggravation therein.
-A boy in tight pink shorts who I knew as Anthony. He approached me, shook my hand, and he reintroduced himself. Soon thereafter, a tall man who introduced himself as Ace in the third person. "Ace is pleased to meet you."
-Ravi Shankar completely laying an audience to waste in 1968.
-Hardhardhard rain over Lake Erie. Kisses.
-A T-Shirt that said "Listen to Tom Waits." I don't know if I've ever seen so much truth on an article of clothing.
-Clouds.
-A beauuuutiful girl. Eyes. Hair. Face. Strange happenstance abound.
I think maybe I've regained my vision.
