The Obligatory Music Nerdery:
+I had a Tommy The Cat Moment the other day. This involves shutting off the world around me, putting my entire being into this song, and, to the best of my ability, singing along to the superfast story. The song has a special significance, as it was my first step towards accepting Tom Waits as my personal savior.
+Just listened to/re-fell-in-love-with the bootleg I have of Mike Patton & Rahzel. There was talk of them playing Vortex last year. In hindsight, I'm really glad they didn't, because I think I probably would have died.
+Do I want to spend an assload of money to see Rahzel, De la Soul and Common open for some schmuck? TO BE CONTINUED.
+Edan's new album is, at this point, my favorite album of 2005. Seriously. I highly recommend it for those not-too-into hip hop. His production is amazing psychedelica and he harkens back to the age of IDominateEveryOtherMCNotBecauseOfMyPossessionsButByMySheerVerbalAbility. OhMYGOD. So awesome. It will make you throw away your cum-stained Pink Floyd shirt and your "You Can't Spell 'Crap' Without Rap" bumper sticker. Fuckers.
+My "Current Music" is just about the sexiest song ever written. DAMN.
+Plan-it-X Fest tomorrow. No promises, but I'm hoping it will renew my faith in independent music/humanity. Shit, son, I'm illegally calling off work to go. Take THAT, Machine!
