Supernatural - The One After 909?
Well, these are actually my reactions to 9x09 but a) The One After 909 is a song that I've heard the Beatles sing (might be a cover, think it might be on their Let It Be album) and b) I do have some thoughts about what I'd like to happen next.
But my reactions to 9x09?
Did I not say that the angel claiming to be 'Ezekiel' was another angel instead? Ha! One point to me.
Was that all the "exploring what it is to be human" that Castiel needed? Really? He was only in the picture for 2 and half eps before he got "angelled up" again. I was hoping for a whole season of Human!Cas and maybe for his re-angelification to be made more siginificant somehow. But I suppose I expect too much coz I do remember that I heard that there was supposed to be a "huge rift" between Dean & Sam back in Season 5 and that ended up lasting only 2 or 3 episodes. So, it would make sense that the any important journey for Castiel could not last longer than that in terms of screentime.
But my biggest WTF?!?! OMG, NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! is reserved for the end of the ep.
NOT KEVIN!! Not sweet and nerdy, but frequently totally badass little KEVIN!!!
You killed Kevin! Bastards!
Which sort leads me to what I want to happen in The One After 9x09. Like Kenny... and Rory... and God knows how many characters on Supernatural, I'd really like to see Kevin resurrected pretty damn pronto!
Bonus would be if Castiel could sacrifice his newly and fairly cheaply reacquired angelic grace to get Kevin back. Then we could have Kevin back and Cass back to not being superpowered.
Let's face it, we all know that Sam will be back - with yet more fraternal trust issues baggage to deal with. Sam is always going to come back, as will Dean.
But that is far from certain for a character like Kevin and dammit, I was really getting to like him a lot.
So, please, please, PLEASE!!! Is it too early or too late to get "SAVE XYZ CHARACTER" T-shirts printed?
