Novacastrian Sojourn - Parte the Seconde
Heh. Typing it up aboard the train that I had to rush to board. Looks like, unlike the train I took from London to Newcastle, this one doesn't have free wifi. Ah well, I've been spoiled so far. This must be "roughing it" *snerk*

The Other Newcastle
Yes, as far as I'm concerned this is the other one. For work, I do a lot of travel around the NSW Central Coast, so I have a passing familiarity with the Newcastle in that area, especially its suburb Gateshead. London Weekend
So, arrived in London on Friday morning - early enough to beat the Customs rush at Heathrow, took a train into the city and made it to Kings Cross station before 9.00am. Then got massively lost trying to find the hotel. You'd think a hotel called Holiday Inn Kings Cross/St Pancras would be easy to find from the train station wouldn't you? But ( Read more... ) -

Faith & River Tam meet the Spider
As I have probably mentioned before, I really suck at posting things in a timely manner.
A few weeks ago starrylizard and I went to the Supanova con in Sydney. It was fairly low key, although the guests included Eliza Dushku and Summer Glau who were pretty cool.

Loved this weeks Dr Who.
If the 5th Doctor can be a superb all-rounder on the cricket pitch, there's no reason why the 11th shouldn't do the same thing on the soccer field (yes, yes, football - association football. I'm Australian, footy is either one of the rugby codes or Aussie rules).
