Yeah, I looked at the ingredients list on the Supermac box, and there appeared to be no difference. Usually, when they add extra vitamins and other goodies to something, they add it to the ingredients list, right? So the public knows it's been fortified?
They're cheatin' us, I tell ya!
(Okay, not really. Supermac is two for 99¢ at the 99 Cents Store. But they were trying to cheat us! That's the point! Supermac was more expensive to start with at regular stores! And that's why it's now at a discount store with lots of organic foods and such...)
They do, they do! At least, they do at the stores in Alhambra and Highland Park. Usually they don't have too many of the organic item, so it runs out quickly. Oh, and I'll end up falling in love with the product and they never stock it again. I've seen lots of organic snacks like chips or cookies and organic milk and such. Yum.
Yeah...Supermac is supposed to be...like, the "healthy" option for your kids. But like I said above, it's doesn't seem to be any healthier than/is exactly as healthy as non-Supermac. Regular Mac already has calcium, whole grain, and vitamins.
And perhaps you like the shaped Mac better even now 'cause it's carried over from your childhood. It's probably why people still like McDonald's in our age--we all liked Mickey D's 'cause of the toys, but the food seems pretty shitty now (at least to me), and people still go. Well, it's also cheap.
I read this post before the edit came along. Anyhow, that would be fun trying out for AI! But I'm terrified of singing in front of people as well. And especially if I were to sing in front of Simon, Paula, and Randy...I think I would have a panic attack. And then they would insult me for my singing and I would cry. Hahaha. Anyhow, don't you have to camp out overnight? Hmm...but trying out would be an interesting experience. And then we would have some good stories to tell. Where are auditions at?
Auditions are at the Rose Bowl. Apparently they don't allow campouts overnight anymore...they just want you to register at some time right before the audition date/time (they said perhaps a day or two early?), during which they'll give you a wristband and a...ticket (???). They don't have the registration dates up yet, though.

For some reason, I much prefer the shaped KRAFT Mac Y Queso to the original. I've never understood why.

So what do you say, Grover? Wanna be an Idol? We could bring our own Supermac and eat it as we wait our turn to try out!

Haha...I don't know if we'll end up doing it, but it sure is something to contemplate doing. :)
