I have seen more bastardizations of this word than I could have reasonably come up with and they all put me off.

People I Am Less Likely to Boink:
Those who say "calvary."
Look at the word. Look at how it's spelled. C-A-V-A-L-R-Y. See how the L is between the V and the R?

I've been guilty of misspelling that word... till I clued in.. it is definite with a ly at the end. Go figure.

Calvary is so totally a word. So i assume you mean people who use calvary when they're supposed to use cavalry?
