Motivation

I lack any motivation at all to do anything with my life. This is my problem, if I were motivated by revenge or a promise kept to a dying person, that would be great. But my life seems too dull for such actions. No bands of ninjas to kill a family member, no girlfriend to be kidnapped by the mob, nothing of any interest. I question what motivates

wouldn't pissing off a gang of ninjas or getiing a girlfriend to be kidnapped be motivation.

Good point. I don't know where to find gangs of ninjas, so of course I should work on the latter.
