That is unacceptable. Especially given the recent circumstances, the mortgage company has no excuse.

Their excuse was due to the first time payment was late after my mother died they sent an order to start the vacancy process. When I paid they forgot to stop the order. Supposingly now if any orders are submitted in the future they will go through one rep. who I have contact information with.

God damn, this is really negligent of them. Hope they make it up to you in a worthwhile way.
