I really appreciate you calling it clever. I was so upset after the finale. I actually wrote most of Chuck's part from one to four am that night in sleep-deprived fury. I've calmed down a little bit, and I think the fandom is going to take God!Cas in some great directions, but I can't stop being worried about what season 7 will bring.

Nice! That would be a funky end to S7 (rather than the Butch and Sundance ending no doubt coming). It is nice and ambiguous as well, nicely written.

Thank you very much! I really hope Cas gets a good ending, because the Winchesters messed up too, and I don't want Cas to be punished and Dean and Sam to get their involvement hand-waved away.

I spent most of season six wishing the writers from this comm could take over the show and fix the fucking thing. Now, well, you're doing all of season seven. Get writing :D

Honestly, though, this was awesome. Chuck was wonderful and the concept a really great idea. I hope they manage to fix Dean and Castiel just like this. It's platonic enough for non-shippers and perfect enough for those of us who are. Beautiful :)

I'm glad you liked that line. I tried to make the story at least a little funny to cut the tension.

It was a freakishly long chick-flick moment. Cas and Dean had a lot of issues to work out before they could even approach okay. ^^ I'm happy to get some feedback on that section, because one of my major worries for this story is that people would find that conversation way too long.
