Iwate and Sansa: a culture update

昔々、Once upon a time,  there were a cluster of villages and towns in the northern region of Japan. Their roots lay in the Emishi, Ainu, and later the Yamato from the south.  During the early days, both demons and gods resided in this same land, shared with the humans. One particular demon of great strenght  and ill temper caused the villages misery

I doubt that a reminder to cherish these memories can actually help you cherish them any more than you already are. I'm quite sure you don't need that. But if you ever do need a reminder, you truly and literally are doing things that most of us only read about. :-)
