Well I've spent a few hours yesterday and a few more today checking out available jobs... its not very encouraging. Most of the discouraging feeling stems from not having a direction. Do I want to go into teaching? Some kind of human resources work? Job with the State Department? I do very much enjoy teaching. TESL (Teaching English as a Second ( Read more... )

Sarah, You are such a uniquely gifted person to begin with, and you now have experience under your belt that very few Americans have. I know that won't help you feel a sense of call to one direction or another, but I hope it helps you remember that there are hundreds of organizations, for-profit, non-profit, and government alike, that would count themselves lucky to have you. It WILL happen. I have no doubt of that. All you have to do is explore, and discover what "it" is!
