Hello! Yes, indeedy. Look at all the friends we have in common, and hey, I read mysteries, too (but more hard-boiled than your taste, from the looks of what you mention--I'm currently on a run of Walter Mosley, getting caught up on the previous ones so I can dive into Blonde Ambition). And I see you wrote a long fic, too. I can't guarantee I'm up for reading a long fic (finishing up one of my own) but I'll happily friend you back.
Hi, yes I read all sorts of mysteries. Just selected a few for my biog! I’ve written long fics and hundreds of drabbles. I’ll drop by and read your fic very soon. Thanks for friending.
Oh, it's a very long fic. But it's my baby. Where are yours? In your LJ memories? I've just taken on guardianship of a nine-year-old, so my fic reading is limited (for now) to shorter fics, which I will read with pleasure.
Feen! *tackles and squishes you** I though you'd deleted your LJ!! What happened? (Well, I know you were disgusted by LJ, even before our Russian overlords arrived).
What happened... well, I got into a really stupid fight with one of my best friends because she hadn't been keeping up with my Insane Journal and I had a REALLY rough summer, real life-wise. So I decided to bite the bullet, swallow my pride and come on back here. So here I be.
Awww. I sympathize. I could not keep up with all the GJs and IJs myself, even though I have them, too. I sort of decided to grow where I'm planted. I'm so glad you're back. Is your summer news in IJ or here? (Never mind--I will look).
I hope things are much, much better for you. I have news, too: I am a mother!
I see you have a new Spike\Tara fic I want to read. I am on my LAST CHAPTER of my shaggy dog story, and then I will read yours. (I can't read Spara when I'm writing it!)
well,i had a journal on here for 5 years and deleted it so i could start over fresh.I would love to have you as a friend.I am of cherokee heritage and i interested in conecting with those of native heritage or at last supportive of native people.I have a page on myspace that teaches how to speak the cherokee language and educates about the culture...thanks
Hi, Cherokeerose. I am not native, but my husband, stepdaughter, son-in-law, and grandchild are. We're grandkiddie's guardians. My LJ has lots of angst, alas, but you're extremely welcome here.
Hub (aka papa_sierra) and stepdaughter are Anishinaabe (Mille Lacs Band Ojibwe), and son-in-law is Lakota, so grandkiddie is 1/2 Shinnob and 1/2 Lakota. The child is behind my chair as I write this, and says "hi." I call her "Bebe" in this journal. Here we are.
